Introduction

"arc@dmz" is my handle name. I am Jun Kato, a first year student in doctor's course being advised by Prof. Takeo Igarashi at the User Interface Research Lab of the Dept. of Computer Science, Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo. I joined JST ERATO Design UI Project when it started in April 2008 and have worked there since then as a research assistant.

I am interested in broad area of Human-Computer Interaction, but have been especially focused on interactions between human and the real world through computers (Physical Computing, Robot Application), their input modalities (Natural User Interface), development environment and methodology (Prototyping).
